| **edit** the following was written Friday, Aug 17. Ahh, the perks of flying so much- eventually your flight is delayed. Sometimes 15 minutes, and sometimes a couple hours. Today it’s three hours. I guess the only reason I’m not completely 100% pissed off (pardon me) is that I’m getting paid to sit here and talk to you. Overtime at that. Is it ideal? No. Is it Friday night? Yes. Is it my ideal Friday night?… you get the picture. On the bright side, it did give me the opportunity to get caught up on my reports, and listen to some tunes while I wait. I’ve been pondering our Posse trip a little. Not so much the details, I guess just the idea of it. Should we go abroad? Stay stateside? A vacation is definitely in order. If we want it to happen, we just have to sit down and plan. That simple. |

| I worked 85 hours last week. I know I'm a workaholic at the moment, and that's the first step- admitting that I have a problem, right?.. but what was I supposed to do? Sit in the hotel room and watch TV?? Besides, we need to finish this thing up in miami, and get the heck outta here. The customer wants their new terminal. |

| 6th week in a row in Miami? Something like that. We're wrapping up the South Terminal Expansion project this month. It'll be nice to be back in the office again when this is over. The word is- we're bidding on an Anchorage job.. I've already told the director that I'd step up for the field engineering responsibilities if given the chance. In a heartbeat. Well, a little work at 'home' beckons.. |
